HAPPY BELATED THANKSGIVING, and PRE-CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS!
Dear Unit!
I apologize for being so late on the December newsletter, AS WELL AS SKIPPING
NOVEMBER COMPLETELY! I had total right knee replacement Nov. 10, and was in such a
flurry of activity BEFORE, as well as after! I'm now in rehab, and have seen the hospital
more in these two months, than my previous 62 years of LIFE! Bruce joins me in this
"club," having had cataract surgery.
One of the beautiful things about our business, is that we can run it from our homes,
(thereby making it a TAX DEDUCTIBLE BUSINESS), and being able to stay in touch with
you, if not face-to-face, by our emails and phone calls!
I appreciate so much, the well wishes, cards, and prayers from so many!
Now, let's talk Mary Kay! Our local gals voted to have our "party" after the first of the
Year, and so we will! Also, January, 27-28, is a Branson Advance, with Denise Kucharski
bringing in NSD Kate DeBlander, and Mary Kay's personal assistant for 27 years, Mary
Kay Museum Director, and on the MK Foundation Board, Jennifer Cook! This retreat only
costs $68 to attend (early registration, goes to $78 on Dec. 31.) The fee includes 1 night's
stay at The Woods, and both meals, breakfast & lunch on Saturday. The fee is priced at
4 to a room.
Then, in MARCH.. MK Career Conference (a mini-Seminar!) at many cities across the US!
The closest to us s in Branson, at The Chateau! The cost for Career Conference (not
counting hotel) is $135, and the date at that location is March 30, and 31. Our Company
has been so gracious, and they give us that much or more, in RETAIL PRODUCTS FOR
ATTENDING! Please let me know of your interest level of attending (somewhere close to
you), on a scale from 1 to 10.. 1 meaning (I'm scheduled for surgery during that time ), OR
10 meaning, wild horses couldn't keep me away !
Things are happening in your MK business, as well as among your families! Our Sue Ann
will be singing at a Christmas program, December 18, 2:00, in Sparta, MO, at THE HOPE
Church, and everyone is invited!
Marie Day's TV program continues to minister to people in many states.. aired locally, at
5:30 a.m. on KOLR (10), Sunday mornings.
Aughty Bailey's daughter, Amber, is happily married!
Our Diane Cummins-Lefler's girl, Victoria, was awarded SECOND RUNNER UP in the
Lebanon Tiny Miss Christmas Pageant, among 27 contestants! Her oldest daughter,
Victoria, wrote an essay on Veteran's Day, that was published in the Lebanon newspaper,
on why her parents are her heroes.
Let's all sing the song together: "Reach out and touch, somebody's hand, make this a
better world, YES you can!"
